Flint Mountain Shelter is an Appalachian Trail shelter with capacity for 8 people. It features a log construction with open space in the middle and two sleeping platforms. Bear cables are available behind the shelter, and a stream is located in front. Ample tenting space is available behind the shelter and across the trail. The site is on USFS land in Cherokee National Forest and maintained by the Carolina Mountain Club.
