About this site
Zilpo Recreation Area is a 355-acre campground on a wooded peninsula in Cave Run Lake within Daniel Boone National Forest, offering tent sites, RV sites with electric hookups, and 12 cabins. It features a sandy beach, boat ramp for registered campers, campground store, flush toilets, showers, drinking water, picnic tables, campfire rings, and an RV dump station. Trails provide access to hiking, mountain biking, and scenic overlooks. Additional Info: Premium lakefront sites available. Electric hookups at extra fee. Pets allowed. Open seasonally spring through fall.
