Yegua Creek Campground
About this site
Yegua Creek Campground is located on the scenic shoreline of Somerville Lake near Somerville, Texas, operated year-round by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The campground features 82 campsites, including 65 sites with 50-amp electrical and water hookups and 17 tent-only non-electric sites. All sites include picnic tables and fire rings. Modern amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station for RVs. Two boat ramps provide easy lake access for boaters and anglers. An interpretive trail offers opportunities to explore the natural surroundings, where pelicans and other waterfowl frequent the shoreline.
