Additional Info: Juniper Flat 2 is a backpacking campsite located 1 mile from the Chisos Basin Trailhead via the Pinnacles Trail. The first 1/2 mile is steep, then moderately difficult. Site capacity is 6 people and 3 tents. Nice open site with little afternoon shade, close to main trail, near Toll Mountain with views of Casa Grande. Bear proof food locker provided. No toilets, water, or amenities. No wood or ground fires permitted. Hammocks prohibited. Pets not allowed on trails.
