WINCHUCK (Campground) Additional Info: Winchuck Campground sits along the Winchuck River in the Wild Rivers Ranger District of Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest, near the Oregon-California border. Located approximately 7 miles inland from Brookings along County Road 896/Forest Road 1107, this barrier-free campground offers 15 campsites in a forested riverside setting. The campground provides convenient access to both mountain and coastal recreation, being just minutes from Pacific Ocean beaches. Facilities include drinking water, fire rings, picnic tables, and restrooms. The campground is designed to be accessible to all visitors. Elevation is approximately 1,244 feet. Operates May through September.
