About this site

Equestrian-focused campground located south of Bridge Creek Wilderness in the Ochoco National Forest. Features five maintained campsites and several corrals designed specifically for camping with horses. The campground sits among large ponderosa pine trees along a creek that feeds Allen Creek Reservoir. No water system on site, but a stream borders the east side for watering horses. No manure pits; visitors are asked to pack out horse waste. Free, first-come, first-served camping with a 14-day stay limit. Approximately 20 miles of trails available using existing forest roads and routes. The Forest Service requests that visitors without horses consider camping elsewhere due to limited equestrian campground availability.
