Wildhorse Crossing Campground
About this site
Wild Horse Crossing Campground has 22 spacious campsites and is next to the Owyhee River in northern Nevada. Campsites are first-come first-serve and can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). Camp roads and spurs are dirt. Each site also has a table, fire ring and grill. Amenities include 2 vault toilets and trash collection. Potable (drinking) water is not available. Cell service is also not available. Additional Info: Managed by US Forest Service. Generally open May to November as weather and conditions allow. Adjacent to the Owyhee River, a trout stream. Fishing for trout in river is available. Opportunities for OHV recreation, mountain biking, hiking. Overnight use single site fee $5 per night. Golden Age & Access Passports accepted. Pets OK.
