Cleve Creek Campground
About this site
Cleve Creek Campground is a free, first-come-first-served BLM-managed campground located in the Schell Creek Range area of Nevada, approximately 26 miles southeast of Ely. The campground features 12 individual campsites and 1 group site spread along Cleve Creek, shaded by large cottonwood and poplar trees. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Some sites are pull-through. Vault toilets are available, but no potable water is provided—visitors must bring their own water. The campground is not suitable for large trailers due to tight turns and limited space. Maximum vehicle length is approximately 25 feet. Fishing for trout is available in the creek. The area offers access to hiking and equestrian trails, with the High Schells Wilderness Area to the north and Great Basin National Park to the south.
