The Wilderness Campground at Heart Lake offers primitive camping opportunities including tent sites, 16 lean-tos adjacent to Heart Lake, and cabins. Each lean-to has a fire pit and picnic table. Facilities include a seasonal washhouse with hot showers, flush toilets, and sinks, available spring through fall; winter facilities are in the High Peaks Information Center. Open year-round and located at the gateway to the High Peaks Wilderness with access to hiking trails.
