Whitebreast Recreation Area
About this site
Whitebreast Recreation Area is located on the south shore of Lake Red Rock, Iowa's largest lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It offers 132 individual campsites and two group sites, all with 30 or 50-amp electric hookups. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, hot showers, drinking water, dump station, boat ramp, playgrounds, and nearby Whitebreast Beach for swimming. Day-use picnic shelters are available. Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Open April through late September/October; reservations required via Recreation.gov.
