McIntosh Woods State Park Campground

McIntosh Woods' shaded campground, complete with electric and non-electric campsites, is a favorite for many and is heavily used by boaters and fishermen. A modern restroom and shower building are present, as well as a playground. Additional Info: The campground has 45 electric sites and 4 non-electric sites, site driveways range from 30 to 82 feet with one pull-through site. It features a dump station, water hydrants, and is 100% reservable. The park hosts the only two yurts in the Iowa state park system, one ADA accessible. Note: Campground closed for entire 2026 season for renovations; yurts remain available.
