West Morris Mountain Campground

About this site

West Morris Mountain Campground is a rustic, first-come first-served campground in Uwharrie National Forest with 14 individual campsites and 2 group campsites. Sites are suitable for tents or RVs, each with a picnic table, grill/fire ring, lantern post, and camping pad. There are two vault toilets and trash cans on site. No potable water, electrical, or sewer hookups are available. A 0.75-mile trail connects to the Uwharrie National Recreation Trail. Open year-round with check-in at 4:00 pm and check-out at 2:00 pm. Pay at the fee tube with cash or check.
