Tsali Recreation Area

Tsali Recreation Area is located within Nantahala National Forest near the shores of Fontana Lake. Tsali Campground offers 42 first-come, first-served campsites, open early April through October. Many sites accommodate small RVs and tents, but no hookups are available. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Amenities include accessible flush toilets, hot showers, and drinking water. The area is popular for mountain biking on the four-loop trail system, horseback riding, fishing, boating, kayaking, and other outdoor activities. Additional Info: Campers pay fees at the campground fee station. Firewood available for purchase from camp host. Nearby Lemmons Branch Boat Launch. Golden Age & Access Passports accepted.
