WEST FORK FS 44 DISPERSED (Camping Area) Additional Info: Free primitive dispersed camping area on Forest Road 44 in the Monongahela National Forest north of Durbin, WV. Three dispersed campsites with gravel parking pads. First come, first served. The West Fork of the Greenbrier River is within earshot. Trailhead parking for West Fork Rail Trail and river access available a few miles north on Forest Road 44. No cellular service (AT&T or Verizon). Pit toilet and picnic table may be shared among sites. No facilities for water treatment or waste disposal.
