West Chickenbone Campground is located on the west end of Chickenbone Lake in Isle Royale National Park, offering individual lake access at each site. Accessed by foot via Indian Portage Trail or short portages for canoe/kayak from McCargoe Cove (1.2 miles) or Lake Livermore (0.2 miles). No boater access directly. Features pit toilets. No potable water, showers, picnic tables, hookups, or campfires allowed. No pets. First come, first served with 2-night stay limit from June 1 to Labor Day.
