Rustic state forest campground along the northwest shore of Arbutus Lake #4, just 20 minutes from downtown Traverse City. Offers 25 sites for tent and small trailer use (11 tent-only with stair access). Features vault toilets, hand-pump potable water, beach area, and universally accessible boat launch. Excellent for boating and fishing (black crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass, northern pike, rock bass, smallmouth bass, sunfish, yellow perch). First-come, first-served, no reservations. 15-day maximum stay.
