Backcountry camping area near Wapiti Lake in Yellowstone National Park, accessible via a 16-mile hiking trail from the Upper Falls trailhead south of Canyon Village. The area features a series of designated backcountry campsites. Permit required for overnight camping. Food must be stored in approved bear-resistant containers or hung on food poles. Campfires allowed only in designated fire rings. Sleep at least 100 yards from food storage and cooking areas.
