About this site
This campground hosts 13 sites along the Shoshone River, all of which contain bear boxes, fire rings/grills, picnic tables, RV parking (maximum spur is 22 feet), and tent pads. From the campground Elk Fork trail follows Elk Creek into the Washakie Wilderness. Corrals are provided at the trailhead. There is a 16-day stay limit, no cell service, and is not accessible to persons with mobility impairments. Notes: Horse corrals and trailer parking are available. Food storage is required. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site (without water): $15 per night Single Site (with water): $20.00 per night Additional Info: Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. Potable water not available. Vault toilets provided. Approximately 28 miles west of Cody, WY, and 25 miles from Yellowstone National Park's East Entrance.
