Vernon Reservoir Campground sits in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, approximately 9 miles south of Vernon via dirt road. This primitive dispersed camping area offers an authentic backcountry experience with minimal facilities. The campground features approximately 10 dispersed campsites scattered around the reservoir in an open setting. Each site includes a picnic table, and vault toilets are available. No potable water available. Popular for fishing, ice fishing, and OHV activities. Open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with a 16-day stay limit. Dirt road access requires appropriate vehicle clearance.
