Dispersed camping area on BLM lands along Wire Mesa, accessible via Smithsonian Butte Road near Rockville, Utah. Remote backcountry camping a few miles from Zion National Park. At least five to ten campsites available depending on conditions. 4WD vehicles highly recommended due to ruts, washes, and soft sand. Subject to 14-day camping limit within a 28-day period. Road becomes impassable during heavy rain and wet conditions.
