Located directly on the Appalachian Trail up on Iron Mountain between TN91 and Watauga Dam Road. Offers views of Watauga Lake, Pond Mountain, and Roan Highlands. No privy. Maintained by Tennessee Eastman Hiking & Canoeing Club on USFS Cherokee National Forest land. Free.
