Valdez Glacier Campground is operated by Fort Greely Family and MWR and offers a variety of camping options including 81 standard tent sites, 13 RV electric pads (20/30, 50 amp), 8 RV non-electric pads, 4 dry cabins, and 2 large group camping areas. The campground features picnic tables and fire rings at every site, showers, restrooms, drinking water, and a sanitary dump station. Located at the edge of a waterfall with views of glaciers and mountains, the campground is within walking distance of Valdez Glacier Lake and provides a serene, wooded setting. Amenities include a pavilion for group events, firewood availability, and pet-friendly accommodations. The area is popular for kayaking, boating, and wildlife viewing.
