Fee info: Overnight: Single Site: $18 per night Double Site: $30 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night Additional Info: Upper San Juan Campground is located at 1,800 feet in the Santa Ana Mountains of Cleveland National Forest, adjacent to Ortega Highway (Highway 74). The campground has 18 single-family campsites beneath a canopy of Live Oaks and operates on a first-come, first-served basis year-round. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets are provided, but no potable water is available on-site; campers must bring their own water. The campground is suitable for tents and smaller RVs. An Adventure Pass is required for day use activities. Access to the San Juan Trail system is available for hiking.
