Upper Bear Camp is a primitive backpacking campsite located along the Sisquoc River Trail in the San Rafael Wilderness, near the headwaters of the Sisquoc River below Big Pine Mountain. It is part of a remote backcountry area best accessed via multi-day backpacking trips, such as a 28-mile loop from Santa Barbara Canyon through Judell Canyon, Upper Sisquoc River, and below Madulce Peak.
