About this site

Trapper Springs Campground is located near Courtright Reservoir in the Sierra National Forest, offering 70 campsites in a stunning setting on the west shore surrounded by granite mountains and towering conifers at 8300' elevation. Sites are relatively flat and suitable for large RVs and tents, each with a picnic table and grill, though without lake views. The campground features vault toilets, is pet-friendly, allows fires, and has ADA access. Reservations are available for loops 2 and 3; loop 1 is first-come-first-served. Nearby activities include fishing at Wee-Mee-Kute (1 mile north), boating on the reservoir (under 10 mph), and hiking in John Muir and Dinkey Lakes Wilderness areas. Generally open late May through mid-October. Additional Info: PG&E managed facility.
