A campground in the Gallatin Mountains on the Gardiner District. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $12 per night Additional Vehicle: $5 per night Additional Info: 16 individual sites + 2 group sites. Open 6/1–10/31, weather dependent. Vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, metal fire rings, and bear-resistant food storage boxes at sites. No trash pickup or firewood. Campground road not suitable for vehicles longer than 40ft. Average parking spur 12’ x 40’. Horse corrals adjacent to trailhead for Gallatin Petrified Forest Trail.
