Morning Star Lake Wilderness Campsite is a backcountry site in Glacier National Park, Montana. It is accessible only by hiking approximately 6.7 miles from the Cut Bank trailhead with an average elevation gain of 137 feet per mile. The campground sits at the head of the 10-acre lake and typically opens around July 15. A wilderness use permit is required for all overnight camping in designated backcountry sites. Additional Info: - Features rugged terrain with forests and lakes. - Two of the three campsites are reservable.
