Thorp Spring RV Park

This little park operated by Brazos River Authority doubles as a campground even though it doesn't appear to be a campground. It's more commonly known as a parking lot for a soccer field. The only amenities are trash cans, a restroom facility, a porta-potty, a boat ramp, and a fishing pier. Additional Info: Thorp Spring RV Park is located on the western shores of Lake Granbury and offers both RV sites with full hookups (electric, water, sewer) and tent camping. The park features a boat launch for fishing and recreation. Camping is limited to a maximum of 10 days during any 30-consecutive-day period per Brazos River Authority regulations. The park is open year-round.

It is just a parking lot but it's free. Bathrooms available and park was clean. About 10 spots for full-size campers
