Boot Canyon 3 is a small, private hike-in backpacking campsite located approximately ½ mile down a spur trail in Boot Canyon, 4.5 miles from the Chisos Basin Trailhead via the Pinnacles Trail. It offers many trees and much shade within a heavily wooded canyon. Maximum 4 people, 2 tents. Hammocks are prohibited. No wood or ground fires permitted. Boot Spring is a seasonal/intermittent water source that must be treated; check with a ranger about current flow. Pets are not allowed in the backcountry.
