Moraines is a backcountry camping area in Grand Teton National Park used primarily by hikers attempting to summit Grand Teton. A permit is required for overnight stays. It consists of small tent-sized clearings on a rocky moraine platform at high elevation, each protected by camper-built rock walls for wind shelter. Access is hike-in only via trails from Garnet Canyon, passing through talus slopes and above tree line around 10,000 ft.
