About this site
Tenquille Lake offers wilderness tent campsites and a cabin managed by the Pemberton Wildlife Association on behalf of the BC Provincial Government. Reservations are required for tent sites ($25/site up to 6 persons) and cabin ($25/person), bookable 60 days in advance. Facilities include outhouses. The site is accessed by hiking trails from trailheads on Hurley FSR (Branch 12, ~7km 4WD road) or Lillooet River (~18km hike), typically snow-covered until late June. Pets allowed on leash. No camping in sensitive meadows. Additional Info: Easy hike through timber to the lake with scenic alpine views, surrounded by Goat Peak, Tenquille Mountain, and Copper Mound. High avalanche danger in winter/spring near Wolverine Creek and Tenquille Pass. Do not travel in high winds due to fire-damaged trees.
