Tatchun Creek Campground
About this site
Road accessible Yukon Government campground in the Klondike Region. Lies in a balsam poplar and white spruce forest next to the creek. Tachän Gé, the creek's Northern Tutchone name, means "back of the fish(es)." Fishing is not permitted in Tatchun Creek (Tatchun River) from August 1 to September 30, to protect spawning Chinook salmon. Additional Info: Amenities include pull through sites and wheelchair access. Services include outhouse, bear proof garbage bins, picnic tables, cook shelter, fire rings, and wheelchair accessible outhouse.
