Million Dollar Falls Campground
About this site
Road accessible Yukon Government campground in the Kluane region. An extensive boardwalk leads to a lookout where you can watch the 60 m high waterfall on the Takhanne River. The falls are the endpoint of the Chinook salmon upstream spawning run, which occurs in July. The campground features 33 tent sites with fire rings, pit toilets, and partial wheelchair access. Hiking trails and a playground are available. This is grizzly bear country; the Takhanne River below the falls is a feeding ground. Maximum vehicle length is 40 feet. Pets are welcome.
