Talkeetna River Park Campground is the only designated tent campground in Talkeetna, offering approximately 10 sites. Its prime location along the Talkeetna River makes it a peaceful and convenient choice for campers who want to stay close to town. You can enjoy the sound of the river, easy access to downtown attractions, and a rustic camping experience. The campground costs $20 per night with a maximum stay of 14 days. It has 8-10 campsites that do not accommodate RVs or trailers, but cars can park at sites. Campfires are allowed, as are pets. Amenities include picnic tables, fire pits, BBQ grills, a single outhouse, and a bear-resistant trash container. Potable water is available.
