Fielding Lake State Recreation Site

Fielding Lake State Recreation Site is a 605-acre state recreation area at 2,973 feet elevation in the Alaska Range, featuring 17 rustic campsites, a boat launch, picnic sites, vault toilets, and drinking water. The site offers lake access for fishing lake trout, grayling, and burbot, with fire rings at each site and nearby ATV trails and hiking. A public use cabin is also available. Managed by Alaska State Parks, open May through September with year-round cabin access via road in season. Additional Info: Located at Mile 200.5 Richardson Highway, accessible by vehicle. Some sites are wheelchair-accessible. Pets welcome. High winds and chilly weather common.
