Sweetwater Bridge Campground
About this site
Sweetwater Bridge Campground is one of seven recreation areas managed by the BLM along the Wind River Front in remote Fremont County, Wyoming. The campground features 8 campsites positioned near the Sweetwater River, each equipped with a fire ring and accessible picnic table. Two sites are pull-through configuration, accommodating larger rigs up to approximately 25 feet. Six of the eight sites are drive-up or pull-through accessible sites designed with ADA accessibility in mind, while two are walk-in sites. This primitive, fee-free campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations or advance booking. A vault toilet is provided, but there is no potable water available on site, so campers must bring adequate drinking water. Additional Info: Open year-round but access may be limited due to snowpack on remote roads. Cell phone service unavailable. Access via 15 miles north from Highway 28 on County Road 5-13, then 6 miles east on BLM Road 4105, and 2 miles to the campground.
