Backcountry campsite 8R5 Basin Bay Point on the north shore of Shoshone Lake in Yellowstone National Park. Located on a private peninsula about 0.5 miles off the main trail. Requires backcountry permit for overnight stays. Additional Info: Permit cost approximately $20 per night per campsite in 2009 (max 6 people per site). Access via hiking trails with access spur.
