Sunken Lake Campgrounds and County Park is a 55-site established campground nestled 26 miles west of Alpena, Michigan on 160 acres of serene beauty with virgin timber and walking trails. The park offers both modern camping sites and primitive/rustic sites. Amenities include electricity, restrooms, hot showers, dumping station, picnic area, hiking trails, playground, swimming, fishing, boat launch (canoes and small boats under 'No Wake' policy), pavilion rentals, WiFi, pet-friendly sites, fire pits, and a camp store. Open May 15 to October 1.
