SUMMIT CAMP (Camping Area) Additional Info: Summit Camping Area sits at 7,136 feet in Sierra National Forest with one primitive site. The campground is free and includes a picnic table and rock fire ring. No water or trash service. Restrooms are available. Four-wheel drive access required; mountain road takes approximately 45 minutes to reach from lower elevations. Maximum stay is 14 days. No reservations; first-come, first-served.
