Sugi Grove

About this site

The Sugi Grove campsite is located approximately 3/4 mile past the boundary into the Na Pali-Kona Forest Reserve along the Mohihi-Camp 10 Road. This shady campground which sits above the bank of the Kawaikoi Stream is located within an old Sugi pine plantation and is equipped with a picnic shelter and composting toilet. You may access the campsite by foot or, under good conditions, a 4WD vehicle. Access from Mohihi-Camp 10 Road, which starts 100 yards past Kokee State Park headquarters along Highway 550. Unpaved road - 4WD access only. Do not ford stream crossings during rainy or threatening rainy weather. Streams can quickly become dangerous torrents.
