Sugar Pine Point Campground (also known as General Creek Campground) is located in Ed Z'berg Sugar Pine Point State Park on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. The campground offers 175 sites, including 10 tent-only sites, with the rest accommodating tents and RVs. Sites include tables and fire rings. Amenities include restrooms, hot showers, potable water, and a dump station (seasonal, closes Sept 30). Open year-round; summer reservations via ReserveCalifornia.com, winter first-come first-served for 24 sites. No hookups. Fees $35/night for family sites. Check-in 2pm, check-out noon. 8 people and 2 vehicles max per site. Pets allowed on leash.
