Stafford County Park

Stafford County Park is located on Lake Huron in Port Hope, Michigan, featuring 73 sites and six camper cabins on 38 acres. The park offers both RV and rustic tent camping. Amenities include electricity, running water, flush toilets, showers, sanitary station, boat launch, picnic grounds, shelters, playground, and fishing. A historic Sawmill chimney erected in 1858 graces the waterfront adjacent to a large enclosed pavilion. The beach features rocky shores ideal for kayaking and rock hunting rather than swimming. Each campsite includes a fire ring and picnic table. Check-in is 3pm, check-out is 1pm. Pets are allowed on leashes but not on the beach. Only one camping unit per site. Cash or check payment only. Open May 1 through October 15.
