Spafford Park Campground is located just off Hwy 33 as it passes through Cloquet. The campground is located on Dunlap Island near downtown Cloquet. Spafford Park is a Campground that is managed by the City of Cloquet. There are 22 campsites, water & sewer sites, pull-through sites and tent sites. Spafford Park Campground is located on the banks of St. Louis River that flows through Cloquet. It also offers newly updated shower facilities, firewood, walking trails, and easy access to the downtown area. Additional Info: 22 total campsites including RV sites with water and sewer hookups, pull-through sites, and tent sites. Features include electric hookups, hot showers, flush toilets, sanitary dump station, picnic tables, firewood available, pets allowed, and ADA access. On-site recreation includes bike trails, hiking trails, lake/river access with boat ramp, and playground. Dumping fee for non-registered guests is $5. Monthly fee for seasonal camping is $500. Campground opens May 14, 2026.
