South Skookum Lake
About this site
South Skookum Lake is relatively small and is not suitable for boats exceeding 20 feet. The boat ramp is small and unimproved. Two docks, one of which is accessible, are located near the launch area and provide fishing opportunities for campers who do not have boats. South Baldy lookout, which is still staffed during the summer months, is visible from the campground and is a popular day trip. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $31 per night Additional Vehicle Fee: $10 per vehicle per day Day Use: $10 per vehicle per day Season Pass for Colville and Idaho Panhandle: $52 Additional Info: 25 campsites with picnic tables, fire pits, and tent pads. Vault toilets, drinking water, garbage service. Small unimproved boat launch. No RV fill-up, only water jugs. Suitable for small RVs.
