Historic Adirondack-style shelter built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, located in a clearing near the South Fork Skokomish River in Olympic National Forest. Accessed via a short, steep 1-mile hike (Trail #870) through old-growth forest from Forest Road 2361 trailhead. Provides cover from weather and space for camping nearby. No amenities available. River ford required for access, use extreme caution.
