South Matthieu Site 3
About this site
South Matthieu Site 3 is a designated backpacking campsite at South Matthieu Lake in the Three Sisters Wilderness. Accessed via trails such as Lava Camp Lake Trail #4062 or Scott Pass Trail from trailheads. A Central Cascades Wilderness Permit is required for overnight stays, reservable at Recreation.gov. Groups limited to 12 people. Campfires must be 100 feet from water. No potable water or restrooms at trailheads. Pack in/pack out. Bury human waste 200 feet from water. Additional Info: Designated sites only. Motorized equipment and bicycles prohibited in wilderness.
