South Cove County Park
About this site
South Cove County Park is a 48-acre park nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on the clear waters of 18,500-acre Lake Keowee. Camping is located on a 15-acre peninsula offering 86 campsites with water and electricity on each site, with 41 sites offering waterfront views. Two bathhouses serve the campground area and a dump station is located near the entrance. The park offers three boat ramps, four tennis courts, two playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, a handicapped-accessible fishing pier, and a waterfront sand beach. Reservations are made through ReserveAmerica. Additional Info: The park is located just minutes from Seneca and ten miles from Clemson, South Carolina. Sites include water and electrical hookups but no sewer hookups. The campground fills up summer weekends, especially holidays.
