Smith Lake Campground
About this site
Smith Lake Campground is a small, rustic, no-fee campground nestled on the shores of Smith Lake in the Idaho Panhandle National Forests, just north of Bonners Ferry. It offers 7 first-come, first-served campsites with potable water from a hand pump, vault toilets, a boat ramp for lake access, and a day use area with 3 picnic units. The site supports fishing, swimming, and provides a peaceful lakeside experience. Access is via US 95 north from Bonners Ferry, then Smith Lake Road (County Road #36). Typically open June through September depending on snowpack.
