Smileys Provincial Park

Smileys Provincial Park is a popular camping park with a pleasant mix of wooded and open areas beside the Meander River. The park offers hiking and fishing opportunities (fishing permitted with a Nova Scotia sport fishing licence). Self-registration is available with campground host on-site. Leashed pets are permitted. The campground features large sites with a mixture of private, semi-private, and field sites. Staff are available between 4pm-7pm to purchase wood and ice. A camping permit is required and campers must use designated sites. Occupancy is limited to 6 people and 3 tents per site, with one vehicle per site (additional vehicles require a permit). Camping permits expire if a campsite is unoccupied for 48 hours.
