Skidway Campground is located near the top of Deep Creek Canyon, off Highway #12. The campground location provides opportunities for nearby hiking and fishing. Fee info: Overnight Use: Single Site: $15 per night Additional Vehicle: $5 per night Additional Info: Skidway Campground is located in Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in southwest Montana at an elevation of 5,500 feet. Situated on a hillside above the Deep Creek Canyon in birch and spruce timber, the campground provides 13 sites widely spread over 18 acres. This is a pack it in, pack it out campsite. Handicap accessible toilets are provided. Pets are allowed if on a leash. The maximum recommended trailer length is 20 feet. Please limit stay to 14 days. A fee is required for the use of this campground. Season of operation depends upon weather conditions and accessibility. Potable water is not available at this site.
